I have worked in such cut-up ways inside & outside a university, and it often happens that someone has 'found' a rather wonderful poem by this means, and says (and it's true) 'much better than I have written by myself.' So I am wondering what gets stuck in our brains and what can be found, by what means, in our inner selves in these cut-up ways. I say our brains enjoy cross-referencing, enjoy playfulness, for light and serious reasons, but how to work with this and understand it?
