I've written in an earlier blog that The Atlanta Poets Group is one of the most exciting collaborations now active. Their energy synergizes, the group multiplying each individual. Much pleased, then, to receive The Atlanta English Dictionary in the mail today. This is a dictionary to browse, first, then the reading begs time to write with this vocabulary.
First time through, personal favorites:
blutter: to give a long, rambling speech about uncertainty
omniferous: willing to be burned by anything
discourageous: a paralysis of determination in severe textual situations
streck: to go for long periods through the countryside, without meeting anything
wanderphone: a type of poeticizing done en route
yadder: 1. bares a tude. 2. one with which one never notices definition one above for fear of sanctions
unutterblanch: to take away words until the original white paper is left
