What do I do with everyday life?
The world people peruse
is not the one they pursue.

The world, it seems, revolves
around generals or genitals.
Just the most famous.

Crag, I think this is terrific poem And I'm in total agreement with Nick at fait accompli on the peruse/pursue insight. My only quibble is the title. Its tone doesn't seem in keeping with the text. I've spent an hour thinking about it and am still unsure what to suggest. Maybe just lift a little language from the poem? Call it "The world, people..."? I dunno. What do you think?
