from editor Bill DiMichele: Here we are again, twisting pictorial/literary reality. It’s great to have come this far, and I mean really far. When I was 10, I had a Justice League of America comic book, #23. In it, the villain enlarges letters from library books and shoots them at the JLA, pinning them to a wall. This was my first experience with what could be called visual poetry, and I still carry it around with me.
