Can't support the candidate, but can disagree with scapegoating he receives from his party as he stumbles. His party "set" him up, yanked him far right of his well-intentioned, myopic pragmatism. Betcha he wishes he could fire his party.
The process: Tom Beckett's questions, my meditation (back straight, hands in lap, breath even), my formative verbal answer (in me leveling head, never written down), then pasting the question into google images, then seeking images that "matched up" or overlapped how I would verbally answer the question (or went in a direction I hadn't "thought" of). These may not be my best, final (or my only) answers, but they definitely are the best available answers. I'd answer some of these questions quite differently now, verbally and visually, but I stand by these answers (provisional truths) as I saw them at each particular, problematic, idiosyncratic point of interrogation.
In any case, this may be the first extended visual/verbal dialog between two poets, almost two years in the making (from Columbus, OH to Moscow, ID), close to 400 pages in length.
The next step is to write poems based on the images without paying "attention" to the questions.
Then, next, locate images that "match up" with the poems, then write...
Hey, that's dialog! We hope Barthe and Bahktin are chuckling in their graves.

Someone tweeted a couple nights ago that "Romney looks more presidential." I resisted replying: Because he's white? Romney does not act it--presidential I mean. Governor "Say Anything" Romney is a sea-slug--he has no spine and cannot keep his head above water.
Governor Romney's reported to be retooling his campaign. After one day--and a video leak of speech to donors--the verdict may be: time to ship that retooling job overseas. What will the Obama campaign do with the scoops they've planned for October? Those scoops are out of jobs.
